Great review, as a GM of A/State for several years now I have to highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys deep and dark settings with believability and a real depth.

Personally I use Chaosiums BRP system to run my games of A/State as I dont really rate the enclosed rules much and Im a fan of BRP and CoC in particular.

If you like WoD, CoC, Dark City or SLA you are very likely to love this game. The setting is one of the best I've ever read with each page having a wealth of usable atmosphere and plot points for your games. Id happliy put it up against Fading Suns and Tribe 8, my two other favourite settings.

Its a real shame that Contested Ground are no longer supporting the game line, perhaps eventually they will get back onto a second edition? One can dream.
