started reading the flavour and skimming. I can't wait to start running this. I bought a hard copy at the local game store, but at 59, bucks and then 13% tax(I live in Ontario) it was a pricey buy but the book still seems worth while. I went to amazon and ordered the core again(for my friends) and then 2 more books and the GM screen. Nice work guys. I wish it was cheaper here in canada. I hate having to get my one friend to bring it across the border.

I figure I'll have my campaign up and running in about 2 weeks or so. Though the new material may change the direction soon.
I would recommend people at least getting a pdf to see the rich horror filled universe they have created.

This review is absolutely spot on. Eclipse Phase is more than awesome! It's great reading both for a sci-fi fan and a lover of RPGs. I got nearly a dozen campaign ideas in just the first 40 pages of reading. And the book is absolutely beautiful, in a dark macabre sci fi sort of way.

The system is very easy working on percentile rolls vs skill value, roll that or lower. It's rules light and texture heavy, but I see that as a strength, one of the many this game possesses.

My local bookstore has it in stock for $50. That's unfortunate. But I found it on eBay for $35.

Hey, in regards to every player having a muse, take a look at page 47. In the fluff it says, pretty clearly, that most people have them.

I was also looking for information on how the game plays. I wish there was a little more about the actual system in the review. How well does it support miniature-based combat? Does it use a level-based system for characters, a class-system, a point-buy system, none-of-the-above? Some information about the crunch part of the game would have been informative.

(I accidentally sliced off the last line of text in the PDF release only ... it's correct in the print version.)
