Ouch. pretentious much? More space spent on the review and less on a general debate on the general flaws inherent in role-playing (or trying to seem clever by pointing out how Americans might do a bad job of describing a foreign land) might have been of better use.

Better still, some clue as to how the themes and mood of the game are portrayed would have helped. Are the Supernaturals in this setting just a rehash of the other Unisystem vampires and ghosts or an all new approach just for this setting? Could you run these stories with Witchcraft or Buffy (AFMBE even), or is this book worth getting for its own merits (bad descriptions of our Green and pleasant land notwithstanding)?

To be fair, those of us who do live in the UK are going to do a better job of portraying Blighty for others by drawing on what we know and those who don't (and who don't know where twee examples like this go wrong) won't need to worry or care. Anybody who has no experience of the setting will be fine with the books version no matter how Mary Poppins those in know find it.
