Heath Ledger R.I.P.

Posted on January 22, 2008 by Matt-M-McElroy

CNN (and other sources) are reporting:

Actor Heath Ledger found dead.

Lots of rumors have already popped up all over the web (many about his role as the Joker in the upcoming Batman film The Dark Knight).

I don’t have any more information than what has been reported in the news so far. I’m not much one for gossip, I’ll leave that for others. Hopefully an investigation will reveal some answers.

I’m also hopeful that his family will get a chance to grieve without a million cameras and celebrity gossip hounds digging through their lives in intimate detail.

You know, they’re going on and on about how much he hated being the center of so much attention and how he always shied away from the media. You know, the kind of attention he’s gotten today.

I mean, really. You’d think they’d at least let him have a grave before they start making him roll over in it.

I feel bad for his family. No one should be constantly confronted by images and commentary on someone they’ve just lost, plastered all over every channel nonstop.

    I agree.

I remember the non-stop Anna-Nicole “coverage” on every channel for weeks.
