I just wanted to say that i started reading the first book afew days ago and i just bought the 2nd one starting on it tonight.
This is by far the best zombie book iv read and its truely a heartbreaking shame that he passed away
RIP Z. A. Recht you will really be missed.

I have stopped reading any kind of book since I graduated high school 3 yrs ago, A friend recently handed me these 2 books and told me to take a look and see if I liked them. From the very first page I was hooked. I today found my self in a book store to see what else I could find and came up empty handed. I then came across this website after googling Z.A. and was deepley saddened by what happened. My prayers go out to his family. But I would like to thank Z.A. for 2 of the best books I have EVER read and opening my eyes to how good a book can be. If a third is to ever come I will be there waiting the day it releases. Thank you again Z.A. and RIP

I have read the first to additions to the triolgy and got hooked. I believe these books to be of the best horror books I’ve read.
Being from a military background myself I found his characters very believable, even with a few niggles in tactics. One has the feeling a lot of effort went into the research of his characters.
I understand Bobs comment about asking whether the third book will be published, but I would be lying if I was not wondering the same thing and that I did not have my fingers crossed for its release.
I feel for the family at such a loss and I feel for his fans as a legend in the making be taken from us.
To me, ZA Recht was better than Romero and would no doubt of had his work put on the silver screen if not still!
All in all it would be a very sad outcome if the third book never published, as every time someone reads and enjoys his books his imagination and memories are re-lived.

Asking whether the third book will be published or not is messed up. My heart goes out to the family, I almost had the chance to meet him too. Whether his final book will be published or not is up to the family.

The morningstar strain series is by far the best zombie horror series I have ever read. I cant wait to see what part 3 will be like. Im shure that it will be one to remember.

the moringstrain series is the best and I can not wait for the third book and this is the only series that i have stuck to read the whole thing so u know its a good book if it keep my intrerest.

I read a lot of horror and the moringstrain series is one of the best. I agree with other comments I am looking forward to the 3rd book.

I love the Z.A Recht Morningstrain series because at the end of the novel it gives you hope, and even if that hope is never reached it was presented to me.I can not wait for the third book!!!
