For any of us that have played myriad D&D type games , we are not really that put off by the reuse of things that might be a bit 'Tolkienesque' ;) . It's the bread and butter of fantasy . I've seen a lot of movies do it FAR worse. I actually hope they make another. I watched the movie on Netflix but I think I may actually buy the DVD just to support these guy's efforts. We never tire of stories :) I thought it was pretty good actually. It certainly isnt something I would watch again soon, nor really go out of my way to suggest it to someone else, but I did enjoy its good parts well enough :) For the parts that where not fully flushed out or explained, i just made up my own ideas in my head, easier and faster than waiting on a sequel :) I agree with Jason that it had a lot of fundemental flaws, but I also enjoyed it too.
