Paizo Announces Retail and Convention Partners for Upcoming PaizoCon in May

As part of their annual PaizoCon [1] celebration, Paizo will include several friendly local game stores (FLGS) and one convention as pilot partners in the PaizoCon@ project. These local game stores will receive access to the PaizoCon exclusive Organized Play releases, as well as the ability to participate in the PaizoCon Interactive Specials for both Pathfinder and Starfinder.
“We’ve gotten a lot of requests for a return to in-person PaizoCon activities, but a singular event couldn’t meet our needs,” said Alex Speidel, Paizo’s Organized Play Coordinator and project lead for the PaizoCon Initiative, “so we’ve decided to branch out and hold satellite PaizoCon events at local game stores and conventions around the country and abroad. This year’s initiative is a pilot program, which we hope to expand in future years if it proves successful.”
The pilot program, dubbed PaizonCon@, will take place at the following game stores:
· Cardboard Corner Café [2]—Overland Park, KS
· Dragon’s Lair Austin [3]—Austin, TX
· Fanboy 3 [4]—Manchester, United Kingdom
· Fox Den Board Game Café [5]—Burnsville, MN
· Game Kastle [6]—College Park, MD
· Gaming Etc [7]—Acton, MA
· Mighty Meeple [8]—Concord, NC
· Mox Boarding House [9]—Bellevue, WA
· The Collective [10]—Orlando, FL
Paizo has also provided a Google Map PaizoCon FLGS Locator [11] for these participating locations.
Alongside these events at FLGS locations, PaizoCon will once again be partnering with KublaCon [12], a gaming convention in Burlingame, CA. At KublaCon, attendees will be able to participate in PaizoCon Organized Play games and interactive specials, as well as watch the PaizoCon panels via Twitch stream in a dedicated streaming room.
PaizoCon 2024 [1] takes place May 24–27, 2024, online and in-person.
