FlamesRising.com contributor, Monica Valentinelli, dropped by WisCon 41 recently and spoke with Bill Campbell from Rosarium Publishing to learn about an upcoming anthology called TROUBLE THE WATERS: Tales from the Deep Blue. This collection of water-themed short stories spans a range of genres–including horror–and is planned to incorporate deities such as Mami Wata, Sedna, Coventina, and more.

Edited by Sheree Renee Thomas, Pan Morigan, and Troy L. Wiggins, TROUBLE THE WATERS: Tales from the Deep Blue is slated for a Fall/Winter 2018 release. The stories can be interstitial or traditional narratives, and will encompass the many nuances and mythological perspectives found in our world.

“All over the world, in cultures young and old, water is life and from this force, great adventures, quests, and legacies begin. And whether it is still, moves, rises, or falls, water fills us. Imagine what stories and strange tales can be told from the depths of its depths.” — SOURCE: Rosarium Publishing

If you are an author interested in submitting to the anthology, the deadline is November 1, 2017. Be sure to visit Trouble The Waters Open Submission Guidelines on the publisher’s website for more details.
